I am free tomorrow if you think you need any help. Just let me know. I'm particularly thinking of those who missed the lessons last week, but can also helpmore generally.
Don't forget to use the comments facility to add interpretations; this is excellent for AO3 and really will encourage confidence as well as share your interpretations with others.

Homework

Go through the past papers and answer one complete Section B question. You can choose. I was just going to get you to do Keats (as it says in this video), but it'll be valuable to answer the whole question. Do this in timed conditions and in one go.
You should also revise the poems, read and re-read them so that you know them extremely well; leave comments on the blog and do general research.
Let me know if you have any problems.

Add something to the debate on Apollonius. As we were discussing Assessment Objectives, it became clear that this is an exceptional way for you to really develop your interpretative skills, essential for AO3...

When you get in to the lesson this morning could you go immediately to the Student Shared area/ Ms Caldwell/ Y12 English and double click Part 1. It will come up with a little box – click yes and then play. Make sure the sound is on.

Tomorrow you should come to the lesson with a comprehensive resource on one poem that covers all the aspects I suggested in my Homework post. If you are stuck with this, look at the PowerPoint in the more recent post from the Easter revision session that gives you more detail on each one of these aspects.
Also, check out the comments on Apollonius. They are awesome. Leave a comment and you'll remember it!

Powerpoint from revision session in Easter hols (apologies for not adding this before). You should really look at the latter half of this ppt in some detail as it has useful suggested content that will aid/focus your revision. Here is a list of past questions; do some of these to ensure you can write about a text well and quickly.
You should also have a good understanding of St. Agnes as it contributes significantly to the meaning of the poem (as titles frequently do). Just have a read through the wiki site; people can be a bit snobbish about wikipedia, but it often serves a purpose when you need a quick overview of a topic.
